StA 13 Landon 7

The Bears played their hearts out. After 34 minutes the score was 0-0. A bad  bounce on a punt ended in the hands of an StA back who scored, StA 7-0.

The Bears could not complete a pass once they got the kick off and turned it over on downs. The Bulldogs ran the ball and scored to make it 13-0 with 1:11 left. The extra point try was stopped when Terrence Fullum tackled the kick holder before the ball could be kicked.

The visitors kick off was taken by Johnny Lynn who ran to the far side of the field. As an StA tackler approached, the QB pitched the ball to Antoine Hudson who ran it in for a TD–virtually a 90 yard run between the two Bears. Antoine also had 2 interceptions for the day.

Landon unsuccessfully tried an on side kick and the game was soon over.

A wonderful season for the 21 Bear seniors and an inaugural season on which to build for Coach Padalino.

GO BEARS!!!
