END OF 3RD QUARTER BEARS 5 BULLDOGS 4
Maybe it was Landon’s greater depth or superior coaching, but the last twelve minutes was all Bear time.
Colton bull dodged (a verb usually used for large middies or attackmen, but so appropriate here as, at least one blue pole was attempting to restrain #4) through Bulldog his defender and deposited a goal @ 9:23.
Having drawn the Bullis attention, Colton again drove to the goal and tempting a second Bulldog to charge towards him; with his head up Mr. Rupp fed through the opponents’ phalanx of sticks and found Zac Buller who quick sticked for a goal @ 6:14. Not to be outdone, the younger Buller (Nate) added another Bear goal @ 3:26. Sam Offutt contributed another tally @ 1:28 showing his athleticism by scoring as he was falling to the ground.
Landon possessed the ball for the remainder of the game, frustrating their opponents into a double foul at 0:00.
