Landon Lacrosse 8 Episcopal High School 4

The Maroon have a long proud lacrosse history and are led by highly regarded Coach Scott Conklin. His team executed well against StA in a 13-9 win, their 3rd victory in a row.

The home team used this last scheduled home game to celebrate the contributions of the 17 members of the Class of 2022.Most importantly, Mr. Dougherty praised their parents who schlepped them to games in the rain and snow, who ALWAYS cheered for them, who made sure that their weary charges completed their assignments and who supported their boys through wins and the occasional loss.

One of the exceptional teachers who has instilled a lifelong love of literature in the boys

Both teams came out in aggressive Zone Defenses benefitting from tall, long poles on the wings. The home team posed a different offensive formation, and it took a while to work it effectively. Anthony Panetti broke the EHS perimeter, firing a goal @ 6:22. Soph Steele Maddux made a nice pass to Anthony P who beat the Maroon goalie @3:08.

Hunter Taylor stopped all 2 of the EHS shots-on-goal.
