The Class of 2021, inside the White Rocks or atop Mt. St. Albans (377 ft ), has had a very tough year; in fact, it is fair to say that these boys have endured travails beyond their predecessors. Congratulations to the 13 Bulldog seniors who have held their team together. Thursday May 13 was designated Seniors Day for the 17 Bears and their parents who have kept their team together without the normal practice and game schedule. In order of their jersey number:
Sebastian Fischbach Stacy & Ken
Jake Cohen (c) Karla & David
Landon Sells Tracy & Bill
EJ Baum Gina & Dan
Stephen Bou ( c ) Jennifer & Lawrence L83
Ethan Herr Sarah & Wesley
Owen Hagedorn Tina & Chris
Chantz Harley Tonia & Coach Charles
Mason Holleman Tina & Vernon
Nicholas Kopp (c) Siobhan & Greg
Lucas MacDonald Fena & Andy

Graham Hertzberg Lisa Carter L89
All seventeen played significant minutes and several had their names enrolled in the Landon Lacrosse record book for G, A, CT and GB. Four of them have committed to play lacrosse at prestigious colleges. All of them will be missed greatly.
Senior Xman, Nick Kopp, set the pace for the home team. Following his jersey number predecessors’ precedent, he won the faceoff, sprinted towards the StA goal and deposited the ball in the nets@11:53. Soon thereafter, senior Stephen Bou connected with Kevin Miller for goal #2 @ 10:30; the freshman’s cut put him in the scoring zone. The roll continued, here senior Graham Hertzberg bulldogged a Bulldog for a goal @9:25.A StA penalty set the Bears into their EMO configuration and Stephen added a G to his scorebook line @8:07. Graham deposited his 2nd goal @5:23 and followed up with an assist on a goal by Exit 16 Nathan Ferguson @4:10. Another lineman for Landon went searching for a GOAL as an attackman (apologies to Glen Campbell) and Zak Oehlerking found it @3:24.
END OF 1ST Q BEARS 7 BULLDOGS 0
True to a Landon lacrosse tradition, many of the starters observed the games from the bench. Kevin deferred to Senior Don Sells who scored @ 9:38. Kevin then added a G to his scorebook line @6:49; he did so because he won the scramble in front of the StA crease and shot point blank. Graham tallied his 4th point with a goal @4:24.
