Saint Stephen Saint Agnes has a proud tradition of lacrosse with a record of frequent VISSA championships, an IAC title and alumni who have played Div. I and III lacrosse. Fortunately, they have a goalie who is committed to a top tier Div. III team; for his netminder skills were tested by a barrage of Bear 31 SOGs plus a large list of near misses.
The Bears’ athleticism and disciplined structure were evident during their FL trip. Against the Saints, the home team was 100% on its clears and 17 stops of the visitors from retaining the ball after a change of possession. The four Landon face-off men (the 1st 3 already with Div. I commits- Hayden Goozh, Talen Smith, Kedren Smith and Luke Fennell) dominated X– 18 wins and 3 losses. The L nets were occupied by 3 goalies –Stephen Riso, Eli Green and Colt Happy—pitched a shutout until Q4 at 7:54.
