The Crusaders of Raleigh, NC, much to their credit annually come North to sharpen their skills. The team is 36-0 in the last 3 seasons’ conference play. They have amassed a roster of players who hone their skills on summer club teams. On this Spring trip to lousy weather, CG lost to Springfield- Delco and Bullis at halftime was a 5-4 advantage, 3rd period deficit of 5-9 and a final score of 8-10.
The visitors did not fare well against the Bears who scored on their first 3 shots and after 15 SOGs, the home team had a 6-0 lead.

The Bears put up another 15 shots. Talan went 1/1 and 1 GB at X and Hayden Goozh won 4 and scooped up 1 GB.

Landon put two on the board early- on an EMO Chase Robertson fed Anthony for goal #8 @ 10:22, followed by an unassisted goal by Riley Lugar unassisted @ 10:14. The visitors did not relent, burying a shot at 5:32, only to see Riley score a second goal @ 3;19. With seconds remaining, CG earned goal #5 at 0:04.2.
Zach saw 5 Crusaders shots and stopped 1 SOG. The X was ruled by Hayden 4/5 with 1 GB
