LANDON LACROSSE 12 BLUE RIDGE SCHOOL 6

The Barons of St. George, VA. do well when they play within the Commonwealth (beating STAB and the Forest, lost to PVI by a close score). Nine commits are on a roster with nine players from Canada. Clearly their coach has aspirations to move on up; after today’s Landon game, they travel to Lawrenceville to the #3, 10-2 Big Red (14 big time commits).

The Bears took off in the 1st period,  putting 7 SOGs and beating the  BRS goalie on 4 shots:

On a broken 10 man ride, the Barons scored on an EN at 2:04. Otherwise, the athletic Bears stopped the VA team’s clears at a 60% rate, and the landon transition game made it into their O zone 5 out of 5 tries. Stephen Riso had a 75% save rate. Talen Smith won 3 of 4 F/Os with 3 GBs; Hayden Goozh was 3 and 0 collecting 1 GB.
