Landon Hockey 7 StA 3

The Bears’ 7^th MAPHL game was against the Bulldogs who suffer from an absence of a home rink and who have not yet registered a win in the League. On Senior Night (CADEN BLAZER, GRAHAM HABERL, DECLAN JAMBERDINO, CHRISTIAN DAYMUDE, HANK MADDUX; SEAN CURRAN AND SAM ROSE) and the last game for Coach Dumond (a job move), the home team prevailed.

Coach Parker started an all senior line-up, but quickly included all of the skaters. JACK LiCALSI guarded the nets all 3 periods and made 17 saves on 20 StA SOGs. The Bears O peppered the Bulldog’s goalie with 35 SOGs.

FIRST PERIOD was all Bears-

• DECLAN started the ’24 night right with a goal@10:59 and assists were credited to OWEN MOORE and DASH COFFMAN.

• Goal #2 was also a ’24 entry in the scorebook: CHRISTIAN D @5:27; assists to REID PERHKON and OWEN a PP goal #11, MAPHL’s top powerplay.

• OWEN registered Bear’s 3^rd goal @5:27 apples to CHRISTIAN BINNER and ELI SMINK.

• REID added his 12^th goal on an assist from CHRISTIAN D with only 0:06 left in the first quarter of an hour on the game clock.

StA early in this shift recorded their 1^st tally at 14:00. The remainder of the middle stanza was without score. Seconds, literally, remained in this period when REID notched a goal@ 0:45 unassisted!!!

A cleaned sheet aided the Bulldogs as they deposited a puck in the back of the net at 11:20. The Bear O reestablished it advantage on another PP @ 9:58 by REID unassisted. StA responded with their season high 3^rd goal at 4:18. A REIDhat trick was entered @ 3:53 and no assist was registered.
