The Bears were visited by the proud Cavaliers at Rockville1, a matchup of 2 MAPHL teams. The Baltimore MIAA team beat DeMatha 5-2 to set up expectations. True to the ‘22-’23 season AS then lost its next four games and this afternoon, their string of Ls reached 5. {season 6-11-4}
The MAPHL score page indicates that the Bears outshot the visitors 51-11. Jack LiCalsi, in the nets, was tested and did his job when the Cavaliers attacked his net in the 3rd period. In the previous 30 minutes, the sophomore goalie shut out the Spalding O.

Recutting the ice seemed to reenergize the Cavaliers and they fiercely attacked the Bear net, recording goals at 13:22 and 9:36 and swing momentum their way.
BUT Dash Coffman swooped in from his blue line position andput the “bisket in the basket” off uncontrolled rebounds from strong shots by Arthur and Reid @ 3:13. Then Quinn Coughlin on an assist from Alex McMillan put the 6th Landon goal in the AS net @ 1:29. The last score of the game came @0:11 by Reid.
Reid had 4Gs and 1A to put him atop the MAPHL scoring list. While Dash earned his 1st G and 1st A tonight
On Monday the 23rd Landon travels to Gardens Ice House for a 4pm match v. DeMatha (3-6-1; notably a 0-0 tie against Gonzaga) and then there is a 5:15 game v. StA at Ft. DuPont.
