The Bulldogs may be developing a numerophobia. After they saw Bear #3 UBIE ZAID return a kick-off for a football TD, among other things. The hockey ‘Dogs were treated to a hat trick plus 2 apples from # 3 REID PERHKON in a MAPHL/IAC clash at the St. James athletic complex. StA may now have triskaphobia.

It was Senior Night for the Bulldogs and they were supported by a boisterous section of students and parents. They had just upset DeMatha and were expecting a consective victory. Most of the 1st period the two teams were equal in their play. After 10:48 of playing time#3 skated up the ice, shot and linemate #10 OWEN MOORE deftly shot the rebound for the Bears’ first score.
LANDON 9 SOGs; StA 6 SOGS; #30 JACK LaCALSI 6 SAVES.
END OF 1ST PERIOD BEARS 1 BULLDOGS 0
The White-sweated team had their first goal (next one 23:59 later) at 13:44. That was a catalyst for Landon’s offense which blasted the Bulldog goalie with 15 SOGS. Bear’s 2nd tally @ 12:07 #27 ANDREW CHIPPERFIELD fed OWEN and then SURPRISE #3 SCORED a PP goal. The Bears incurred a penalty, but though SHORT-HANDED, they earned a goal by OWEN assist to REID.
JACK stopped 8 of the StA SOGs, while the Bears pummeled the ‘Dogs netminder with 17 SOGs
END OF PERIOD #2 BEARS 3- BULLDOGS 1
The Bears’ special teams continued to be offensive. As is NOT typical, the man down scored @14:28 on a classic REID take-away in the D zone, flying up ice (for hockey mavens: ROCKET REID) and beat the Bulldogs goalie.

Next #3 completed his hattrick @ 8:48, unassisted. Credit to Landon’s traditional rival, they scored on a PP at 2:33.
JACK stopped another 9 SOGs; while his teammates (including all of Coach Parker’s 4 freshmen) put another 12 SOGs.
FINAL SCORE BEARS 5 BULLDOGS 2
NEXT WEDNESDAY at 6pm GP as the home team @ Rockville #3.
