Landon Hockey 5 Calvert Hall 3

The Cardinals ended the Bears’ run in the 2014 MAPHL tournament in a tough 3-5 Landon loss. To end the 2015 MAPHL regular season, our guys traveled north to Baltimore to play the #2 team in the League’s Northern Division. This time the results were reversed, Bears on top 5-3 (thanks to the on-scene reporters).

Landon scored first with Tommy Crittenberger scoring on a feed from Michael Soraci @ 10:23 (there may have been another A, but the picture of the score sheet was blurry). The Cardinals tied it up with a tally at 0:06.

END OF 1^ST PERIOD BEARS 1 CARDINALS 1

The visitors went ahead with a goal by Trevor Wolf @ 13:26 from Michael. At 6:45, the home team tied it up. The Bears responded with two consecutive goals; first Drennan Greene from Ben Gilbert and Colton Rupp @ 12:20 and second Tommy from Patrick Giles and Colton @ 4:37.

END OF 2^nd PERIOD BEARS 4 CARDINALS 2

The Bear advantage dropped to +1 when the Cardinals scored at 13:23. The two goal margin was finally reestablished when Patrick scored with helpers to Tommy and Alex Norwinski @ 5:34.

The shots on goal were 27 to 19 to the Bears’ advantage. Jack Concannon had 17 saves. That’s quite positive in that the Cardinals are the North’s #2 offense with the #1 goal scorer.
