The Cavaliers of AS , an MIAA athletic powerhouse, entered the Piney Orchard rink with a schedule which included losses to DeMatha (2), St. John’s Gonzaga (2) and Calvert Hall. They worked hard against the Bears.
The home team took an early lead on a powerplay in the first period. Thereafter the visitors controlled the puck, passed to the open man, played strong positional defense and benefitted from the WALL- Leo Quattrone who closed the net for the remainder of the game.
Landon beat the AS goalie @2:13 of 1st– Kevin Fou to Sebby Kenary who fed the goal scorer-Owen Calderone.
Caden Blazer scored @11:30, earned the go ahead tally with an A to Michael Hardie.

KISKI PREP is 1-1, having lost to Malvern Prep 0-11 on 12/1 and beating Hollidaysburg 8-3. The 2018-2019 Cougars had a record of 15-4-1 while winning the ISHL Championship and the ANC Championship for the fourth straight year, and winning the Midwest Hockey Tournament for the third straight year. Kiski travel to Ohio, New York, and Canada for non-league contests. The Cougars’ aggressive non-league schedule is designed to prepare the team for the league tournament at the end of the year. Their ’19-’20 roster had 6 Canadians and 1 player from the PRC on its roster
