In the regular season’s penultimate game, the Bears and the Cavaliers played to a 4-4 tie.
The visitors got on the scoreboard first when REID PEHRKON (g#16) scored on a pass from CHRISTAIN DAYMUDE @ 14:52. DANIEL ROSENSTOCK stopped all 11 SOGs and his teammates put 8 on the AS nets.

Middle period went well initially for the Bears with ELI SMINK tallying on a CHRISTIAN D and CADEN BLAZER passes @13:50 on a PP. The goal lead reached +3 @ 9:44 on freshman ZACH GENSLER’s first goal with an A to REID (a#13). The Cavaliers regained their stride with 2 consecutive goals at 9:14 and 6:14. DANIEL made 10 saves and Landon’s usual high volume O only put 6 on net.

Third period saw Landon put 6 SOGs, while the home team earned the game-tying goal at 9:46 on a PP. DANIEL stopped 7 AS shots. In what may be the only time this season, Coach Parker’s charges were outshot 20-30. (Mike LiCalsi has the SOGs 16-23)

Bears have 14 points and face previously MAPHL undefeated SJCHS on Friday in the Bears’ Den at 6:10.
