The Bears have scored in all nine of their previous games and this 0-0 tie with the Stags earned Coach Parker’s squad’s third shutout. The flu sidelined 3 skaters; so, the entire bench played. Philip Sears stopped all 20 DM shots on goal, while his O teammates peppered his counterpart with 44 shots. The usually Brown-sweatered Power Play was 0 for 8 minutes of Stag penalties. The Landon D-men and their back/forechecking forwards limited the opponents’ SOGs. The tie moved Landon into a tie in the MAPHL standings.
