Before the context started, the14 members of the Class of 2024 were recognized. A talented set of seniors should be known for their leadership. They showed the 13 underclassmen what is expected of Landon Lax players. Their on-the-field lessons showed the energy, focus, discipline, teamwork, and skills that are part of a 50 year tradition within the White Rocks.
On by the way, the character of these young men can be traced to their parents who supported them in their pursuit of excellence in this sport—striving to games, making sure that their sons ate right and got adequate sleep, supplying the best in equipment, attending games all over the country and paying for the unequaled academic and educational resources of Landon.
The Lions and the Bears have played in games, but this year the visitors were clearly uncomfortable entering a Ursine Den. The home team tallied 8 goals in period 1, 6 in the 2nd frame, 3 after half and another triple in the last quarter.
Coach McGettigan added new players starting in Q2 and by the 48th minute, the Entire Roster accumulated minutes in the game.
Rather than weaving the way through the XX Bear goals, a scoring summary should suffice:
