Landon 14 Oakton 3

The Oakton Cougars are one of the best of No Va and have already beaten their local competition twice, and lost to rising WCAC power Paul VI. The Bears were no match, cruising to a 14-3 victory at Bordley Stadium at Triplett Field. This is the sort of contest that allows some of the new talent on the team to be battle tested. Today, the list of scorers included few of the regulars and the list of players on the field even went two beyond the roster.

Rather than recite the goals and assists as the game unfolded, this post will list the totals and mention some of the new Bears who got playing time today. Significant playing time went to the following boys who had not accumulated significant experience before:
