If you attended the Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies, you would have to be impressed with the breadth and depth of the Class of 2011. This is an impressive band of brothers on the various fields of athletic endeavor and in their academic accomplishments. Of the 82 young men who received diplomas from Headmaster Armstrong on June 11, 2011, 27 are expected to play sports at the next level. As identified by the College placement office, nine were Division I recruits.  Twenty of these seniors are expected to play division I sports.

The attached table 2011nextlevelPG chronicles the off-the-field accomplishments of these Bears and demonstrates that college admissions officers had strong reasons to include them in the colleges’ respective Classes of 2015. These scholar athletes were recognized by the school with the Headmaster’s Award, the Mercer Award, the Triplett Award, the Aiken Award, Excellence in Languages award, cum laude, Community Service Awards, music awards, writing award and the President’s Outstanding Award.
