Distance learning from inside the White Rocks
Other than the baseball team which cleverly has held a virtual practice, there is not a lot of athletic news to report about the Bears. There are Members of the Class of 2020 within the White Rocks and beyond and their truncated seasons merit recognition; so, the ESPN #SENIORNIGHT will be imitated here. Also, there have been awards and college announcements for the Classes of 2020 and 2031 to be reported here.

Scott Van Pelt, a graduate of Sherwood HS and University of Maryland, is host of the late night ESPN Sports Center. He has added a segment to hi show to honor the Spring Sports 2020 athletes whose seasons were terminated by COVID-19. It is quite well done; he names teams, their seasons and accomplishments.
Since Landon has experienced a similar plight and the teams will likely not be able to hold season parties, the SVP #SeniorNight idea seemed appropriate for these Bears.
These Bears are a very talented group and with the benefit of a full season, All IAC, All Met and All American would have followed their names, plus likely a few league championships. (Rawlings has published an All Region Pre-Season list.) THAT SAID, THE REPUTATION OF THE 2020 BEARS WILL INCREASE OVER TIME.
