BASEBALL—Coach Reed’s team (4-6) beat Bullis for a second time and then dropped two to 14-7 Prep (5 of losses to FL teams). The Bears are at Indian Springs School for an early Saturday morning game.
GOLF—Coach Luther’s team lost 199 to the Hoyas’ 192. Then Tied Gilman 190-190
LACROSSE Coach McGettigan’s squad (7-4) beat IL’s #2 Southeast Gibbons (NC) 8-6 and then fought hard against a talented GP roster 4-12. Next week undefeated Madison (A) and home v. SSSA (4/21 home).
TENNIS Coach Miller’s netters beat Bullis and Prep by identical 4-3 scores. Mercersburg Saturday and EHS & SSSA next week.

TRACK Coach Gagnon’s runners are at GP on Saturday

The College of Wooster’s Dane Camphausen was voted the honorable mention National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III Hitter of the Week and toD3baseball.com‘s Team of the Week, as announced by the respective organizations on Wednesday.
Camphausen slashed .579/.667/1.368 during a five-game stretch for the Fighting Scots. He went 11-for-19 on the week with 11 RBI, 10 runs scored, five walks, four home runs, and three doubles. Camphausen became the 15th player in program history to reach 30 career home runs, hitting the milestone in Saturday’s doubleheader with Wittenberg University. He hit three home runs during Tuesday’s doubleheader sweep over Kenyon College and is now at 10 round-trippers for the year.
Camphausen, who leads the team with a .400 average (34-for-85), has hit safely in 10 straight games, with four multi-hit efforts during the stretch. He had multiple hits in four of Wooster’s games last week, including a pair of three-hit efforts. He had seven RBI and scored seven times during the Kenyon doubleheader and has now driven in at least one run in seven consecutive games.

Charlie Bundy L’22 (College of William & Mary Tribe), Wildcat Spring Invitational on Tuesday at the LuLu Country Club, Freshman Charlie Bundy matched Feinstein’s second round 1-under 70 for the best round of the tournament for a Tribe player. It moved up the Tribe rookie to a share of 26th in the 95-player field. He carded a 5-over 147 over the two-day event. His round of 70 was his eighth of par or better this season.
