CROSS-COUNTRY– Coach DiChiara rolled out the MARK FERRIS INVITATIONAL this week with over 130 boys and girls runners. In the Boys Varsity divisionBrannon Hamilton L’25 19:34.20h was the first Bear to cross the finish line in this event named for a former teacher/Landon X-country coach/mentor.
FOOTBALL– Coach Paladino’s squad is 3-0 ,AGAINST FLINT HILL , a seesaw 1st half saw two Bear highlights a MAX MURRAY TO EMMANUEL COLEMAN TD pass and then a ROBERT SWIFT 63 TD run (crudely reimaged below). The Bears left Oakton with a 13-6 WIN

SOCCER (a/k/a football) Coach Reed lost to neighbor and WaPo #10 by a 1-2 score; beat McNamara 4-2 and are in Philadelphia for more tough tests
Volleyball-Coach Sivaslian’s squad lost to Mt. St. Joe’s in a home match 0-3
