The IAC back-to-back schedule is leading to some results; so, more to report:
Baseball, won one and lost two- one behind a strong ‘24 pitching performance;
Golf lost two,
Tennis is undefeated;
Track reports tow impressive PBs;
Lax lost to Prep there but showed some resilience in the 2nd game;
Randy Bednar, Jr. and Dane Camphausen are hitting well. Jake Davidson has a good trip to the mound. Jack Cope PG year at Taft went 13 scoreless innings (over 2 games)
Morgan Egloff and Evan Katz end their stellar collegiate golf careers.

Inside the White Rocks

Baseball—(5-2) completed twin wins over SSSA and lost twice to GP. 024 RHP/3B James Pedas did an incredible job keeping @LandonVBaseball in this game. Exits here in the 5th. Big stage for a freshman. Handled it extremely well. Mixed three pitches with confidence.
Golf— (2-2) lost 2 to GP.
Lacrosse— (2-3) showed significant resilience losing to GP 5-11 and then two days later, down by 5 the Bears tied it at 9-9 only to lose to a brilliant play by GP#28 9-10.
Outdoor Track—Coaches Callahan, DiChiara, English, Hunt, LaCroix and Matthews are developing some talent—


Tennis— (4-0) beat GP 4-3 in a nail biter to keep their 0 defeats.

College Baseball Update
Randy Bednar (L’17), University of Maryland. 13-13
Preseason All B1G is hitting .308 with 15 RBI in 23 games this year, continuing an outstanding college career. There are no stats for his play since 4.16. He was drafted in the 27th round by the Atlanta Braves in 2017 and we hope to see him on the draft board this year!
Dane Camphausen (L’19), the College of Wooster. 20-7
Dane is Wooster’s starting first basemen as sophomore and is having an excellent year. The big Fighting Scot is hitting .325 with 5 home runs and 129 RBI in 25 games.
Jake Davidson (L’19), Kenyon College 6-5.
Jake is a sophomore relief pitcher for Kenyon wearing his #13 as always. The Lords posted two consecutive wins in which their starters dominated. Jake is playing for the D.C. Grays this summer in the Cal Ripken League in and around D.C.
Jack Cope (L’20) Taft School–Jack Cope continued to dominate on the mound for Taft in game one. He finally allowed his first run of the season after 13 innings.
Basketball
Professional Basketball Darion Atkins (L 11) Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediyespor of the Turkish BSL (8-21).

GOLF
· Morgan Egloff L15, Rollins College- Morgan completes his career as a Tar and will explore a career path.
· Evan Katz L17 Duke—graduated 5.2 with a degree in Sociology; Markets & Management certificate
HOCKEY
NHL Hockey
Sam Anas L11 St. Louis Blues taxi squad, played in 15 games for Utica Comets with 2 goals and 16 assists.
Soccer
Burke McLaughlin, Denison University cover player for the Big Red’s last scrimmage
