BASEBALL Coach Martinez beat Avalon and then IAC win over SSSA

GOLF Coach Luther’s team beat DeMatha 150-120
LACROSSE Coach McGettigan’steam went 2-0 for the week with wins over DeMatha 13-9 and then SSSA 16-3. On to Gonzaga on Wednesday under the lights.

RUGBYCoaches Beckoff and Klingelhofer’s ruggers remained undefeated with a win over Purple Eagles:

Former Penn PG Tyler Perkins commits to Villanova
In other news, former Penn point guard Tyler Perkins committed to Villanova after he entered the transfer portal back on March 18th.
Perkins played just one season with the Quakers, but was a solid piece to the Ivy League squad. He finished the season with 13.7 points per game, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, shot 42.5% from the floor and 34.7% from three-point range.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Perkins was not ranked, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He played his HS basketball out of Bethesda (M.D.) Landon School.

Charlie Bundy L’22 (College of William & Mary Tribe) Charlie Bundy produced the round of the week and the top finish for the Tribe in the 54-hole event that was played over Monday and Tuesday at the Pete Dye Golf Club. Bundy, who’s 2-over finish was good for a T-12 finish, posted a 3-under 69 in Tuesday’s final round with five birdies and just two bogeys. The sophomore opened the event with an even-par 72 and was just one of 10 players to post a score of par-or-better through 18 holes prior to shooting 77 in round two.
And the Bear was the CAA Golf Player of the week
