YOU CAN VOTE ONCE A DAY HERE→→ http://www.hobeybaker.com/awards/the-hobey-baker-memorial-award/vote. It would be awesome if Landon would add Hobey Baker Trophy to its existing Tewaaraton Trophy.

Bears vs. Bears
Delaware (Taylor Valencia ‘13, Philip Pena ‘13) 12
Bucknell (Sean O’Brien ’14) 11
Delaware played their second game of the year and evened up their record, coming from an early deficit to down the Bucknell Bison 12-11. The Bison got off to a strong start, winning the first quarter 5-0 and but then gave ground in the second half, particularly in the closing quarter when the Blue Hens had a 3-0 scoring advantage.
Sean O’Brien started at midfield for Bucknell in his first NCAA game, scoring one goal on 8 shots. Taylor Valencia got one ground ball for Delaware.
Navy (Patrick Keena ‘11) 21
VMI 7
Patrick started on attack for Navy in their season opener and that put him in a gift giving mood. Patrick scored twice on three shots and dished out 7 assists. This is the first Navy-VMI game I have missed after seeing 5 straight and was by far the only one played at even reasonably hospitable temperatures.
Virginia (Michael Rhoads ’13, Jason Murphy ’13, Brandon Johnson ’14, Jack Falk ‘14) 13
Loyola 12
Virginia and Loyola met in the season opener for the second straight year and again the game was played to the final whistle. Jason Murphy won two of 12 face-offs as UVA’s FOGOs faced a tough test against Loyola’s #1 face off guy, Graham Savio—a sophomore who took 75% of Loyola’s faceoffs last year, winning over 55%.
Johns Hopkins (Sam Lynch ‘14) 16
UMBC 4
Sam Lynch saw action in his first NCAA game, recording one shot as the Blue Jays easily dispatched the Retrievers.
Colgate (Robby Dunigan ‘13) 9
Bryant 5
Colgate picked up road win against a ranked team.
