Senior Profile
PETER MILLSPAUGH #54, CENTER

When did you start playing football?
3rd grade at Landon. Mr. Scottie Miller put me in at center on day one.
What is your time in the 40 yd. dash and what’s your best bench weight?
I don’t know my 40 time and my bench weight is 240 pounds.
What is your favorite college football team and college football player?
I root for the Virginia Cavaliers and my favorite player is probably Anthony Harris, safety for the Cavaliers.
What is your favorite moment during any Landon sports event in which you played?
It has to be the big win versus Georgetown Prep in front of the home crowd last year to bring back the cup.
What is your favorite course/faculty member at Landon?
I really enjoy Economics with Mr. Bellaschi. So many teachers have made my academic experience at Landon incredibly fulfilling: Mr. Sorkin, Mr. Swinehart, Ms. Lubin, Mr. Norman, Mr. Botti, Mr. Bartman, Mr. Wright, and Mr. Reed are just a few names that come to mind, but the list goes on and on.
What is your favorite non-sports related activity–community service, music, painting, sculpture, photography, independent paper, debate, drama, poem, extracurricular activity, etc.?
I’ve been painting since freshman year with the guidance of Mr. Bartman and it’s one of my favorite things to do off the field.
What is your nickname (if any) and how did you get it?
Countless variations of my name circulate just by friends coming up with and calling me them. Pete, mill, p milly, big pete, and petey are just a few.
Describe yourself in 3 words? How would your parents describe you in 3 words?
I’d say I am organized, hardworking, and creative. My parents would describe me as mature, fun, and dedicated.
What’s on your iPod?
I listen to all sorts of music, adding new playlists to my iTunes every now and then. I like a lot of the current hip hop and techno, and I’m also into oldies music from the 70’s and 80’s.
10.Tell us one thing (interesting) that your teammates do not know about you.
I like to cook in my free time.
