Basketball (14-2) WaPo #11 lost to SSSA and then rebounded to beat Prep 64-63. True to WaPo standards, it reported,” It’s Landon’s first victory over Georgetown Prep since 2010..” Several Bears corrected that history, but since Jack has corrected BSN in the past, his tweet read as follows:

[NOTE: the stands were filled with Bears from other winter teams (hockey, squash, track and wrestling). The talented Brothers are not just multi-sport contributors (did you ever see Joey Epstein blow up an opposing runner?), but also are heavily involved in community service, music (more All Americans than lacrosse), painting, photography, sculpture, theater and writing!!!


Hockey-(10-1-4)  Coach Erickson’s team played hard against a fire-up GP team and the score belies how close the game really was– Landon Hockey 1 Georgetown Prep 4and then beat a short-handed SSSA team Landon hockey 15 SSSA 0. For the season the Bears have scored 73 goals and held their opponents to 35.

Squash

Bears split the double header 2-5 vs Whitman and 6-1 vs Wilson

Bears come out hot and take down the Heights 6-1!
