Coaching

Paul Padalino joined the Georgetown coaching staff in January 2020. He works alongside Defensive Coordinator Kevin Doherty with the team’s defense. Before arriving at the Hilltop, Padalino spent the 2019 season as a defensive quality control coach and recruiting assistant at his alma mater, the University of Richmond. There he helped tutor All-CAA First Team and Third Team selections. During the summer of 2019, Padalino was the football operations intern for the Buffalo Bills, helping set up and run the team’s training camp facility in Rochester, New York. Padalino graduated from Richmond in 2019 with a degree in business administration. He was a member of Richmond’s 2015 CAA Championship team that advanced to the FCS National Semifinals, as well as the 2016 squad that reached the FCS National Quarterfinals. He appeared in five games in 2016, recording two tackles. However, Padalino was forced to retire due to injuries and spent the 2018 season as a student assistant coach, working with the teams linebackers and defensive backs.
In addition to his achievements on the Gridiron, Paul’s D prowess for the Landon Lacrosse, Paul shut out Gonzaga stud Attackman Ritchie Pettibon (Alabama and Illinois lineman).
