–

–   Varsity Football—Coach Padalino’s team played well in a 34-0 win over WWHS. Both lines took care of business against Whitman. The “skill” positions showed speed on both sides of the ball. The RBs hit the holes quickly and showed balance after opponents’ contact. The defensive perimeter played solid coverage plus their tackles were true to their preseason training- solid and safe. St. Mary’s next Friday; scouting report at above link.

–   Varsity Soccer—Coach Reed’s team played the NC soccer powerhouse Bishop McGuinness [4-0-1 in 2017]( lost in NC state Championship games the last 3 years) and beat them 1-0.
