• FOOTBALL the new Landon.net website has not posted it; so, here is what MaxPreps shows as the 2021 schedule. NOTE:

  • New opponent (scrimmage?) Suitland Rams—0-0 in 2020; 7-5 in 2018; 17 identified as returning seniors.

  • Repeat on schedule from 2019  Dunbar School  was 10-3 with a tough home loss to the Bears (14-8); 8 seniors identified out of 34 player roster.

  • trip to Orange, VA to play against Woodberry Forrest last in 2019 [first 2021 away game for Bears]; 2020 1-0 20 members of 2021 listed on 2020 roster; new coach

  • new opponent-Haverford School (Philly—PIAA\InterAc league) 2-1 in 2020[H]; young 2021 roster

  • Regular IAC schedule; few teams have posted their rosters; GP at neutral site [stadium still being reconstructed; sky suites were more difficult to install] 😉

• Preston Lugar @preston.lugar , Landon and Next Level 2022 midfielder, has committed to the United States Naval Academy! Preston is crazy fast and athletic and is outstanding at staying in front of an opponent’s best dodger. He is a ground ball machine on the wings, and a human clear in transition. Navy has been Preston’s dream school for a very long time, and we are so happy to help him get there. The Midshipmen are picking up a great player and a great young man. Congrats Preston, we are proud of you! @il_preps @tyxanders @navymlax @landonvlacrosse
