Getting to crunch time in fall sports inside and out of the White Rock, HS and College soccer in particular. Pro and developmental hockey in full swing. Alumni earns entry into Hall of Fame

  • Varsity Soccer allows 1st IAC score in tie v SSSA and battles to a 0-2 loss to STA

    • Two ’23 players (one pro) met with Bear 3rd grade team explaining what it took to get there.

  • Varsity Football beats Bullis 19-7

  • Varsity X-country IACs Bears 3rd, seniors places 4th and 7th

  • A Bear Tennis Alumni enters HoF

  • 12 Alumni Bears on college football rosters, 7 played one first start in a winning game

  • Football Alumni coaches are 4-2 in 2nd AFL East 2 consecutive upsets  and 4-3 in FBS

  • 6 Alumni are on college soccer rosters, three ranked Div. III teams 4 played; all NESCAC teams with  all Bears were in playoffs, next week Bear v. Bear

  • 1 Alumnus swam 500m v. M Go Blue

  • 2 Alumni are on a college water polo team and played over the weekend and each had 2 goals.

  • 1 Alumnus is on college RUGBY roster MORE???

  • 5 Alumni are getting ready for basketball season; one playing pro in Italy

  • 13 Alumni are playing/preparing for hockey ; 2 pro’s played this week, 5 in developmental leagues—all appear to have played ; 4 in college club; 1 in PG

  • See the 2 pros’ teams play each other @ Hershey on 12/10

  • 2 Alumni golfers- one in college played well in a tournament and one signed a pro contract

Nico Kenary L18, #27 — Amherst College (10-1-5): Mammoth 1-1 beat Trinity 5-1; #27 played/started 90 minutes and had a SOG; in NESCAC quarterfinals Amherst at home had a 1-0 v. Wesleyan, #27 played/started 90 minutes; next v. Hannam’s team 11/

Noah Hannam L18, #9 — Middlebury College (10-3-3);  Panthers lost to Williams 0-1; #9 played 21 minutes; in NESCAC quarterfinals  a 2-0 home against Hamilton, #9 played 25 minutes

Marc Schermer, L 20, #14, Hamilton (8-2-4); Continentals lost #27 Oneonta 1-2 ; #14DNP ; next up NESCAC Q-Finals a 0-2 @Middlebury DNP

Hayden Evans, L 20, GK# 1;University of Michigan Wolverines (4-10-3); in a 2-3 loss to  Notre Dame # 1 DNP, lost to  PSU no stats

Issa Mudashiru, L21, D #33 Princeton University (6-5-3): beat Fordham 3-2 #33 started and played 66 minutes; the Tigers tied Brown #33 started and played 33 minutes

Carlos Febles, L22, D #6 Oberlin College; 5-7-3: #6 DNPin 2-2 tie v. Wooster #6 played 52 minutes

  • DC United  forward Kristian Fletcher L’23 after the MLS season met with 3rd grader soccer players. Along with classmate Art they shared with the younger players what it takes to succeed in school and on the fields

Jacob Rosner L19 Northwestern, 2-2; swam 500m v. M Go Blue per his father who was watching oldest son at ’23 bear playing football.

Ford Bruggen L20, #13 –George Washington University 19-5 beat USNA 12-11 in O/T (no stats) and then 23-8 @JHU played and had 2 goals on 2 shots
