Hockey (3-0) and hoops (only loss last second to nationally ranked team) off to good starts; wrestlers (3-0) and at the prestigious Raymond B. Oliver Tournament; other sports no reports
Alumni:
BASKETBALL—1 pro BB player continues to contribute in Italy; one Bear is coaching an ACC team; two college hoopsters lead their team in key stats (1 DIV. I and one Div. III); and 2 more playing for their teams.
HOCKEY—2 pros play in same competitive leagueand will meet on Tuesday; 1 Div. III college player getting time on ice as a freshman; 6 are playing in developmental leagues (one committed to Brown and one to RPI); 5 contributing to their College Club teams; one playing for a Founders’ League team
WORLD CUP—while a L’23 Bear may make it to the FIFA global tournament, an alumnus (L’88) was there “working”—MORE?

Winter Sports
Basketball – (2-1) schedule shows Takoma Park (scrimmage; they beat MIAA’s Calvert Hall)? Beat Sandy Springs 88-57 and Episcopal (TX) 62-45 and led nationally ranked Sidwell Friends until the last seconds when the Quakers went ahead. Great efforts by Coach Turner’s Bears!!!


Hockey (3-0) Coach Parker’s skaters have played well in non-league win over What Rocks a/k/a Hoya Saxa a/k/a Georgetown Prep 2-1then in their 1st MAPHL game used their depth to beat Bishop J. O’Connell 5-2
