BearSportsNews Sunday catches up on all varsity sports and captures the alumni at colleges and the pros. The information available within and beyond the White Rocks varies based on what coaches and colleges provide; sometimes there may be better sources than the obvious sources. Please share at sandy_murdock@yahoo.com any links or sites AND ABSOLUTELY LET ME KNOW ABOUT ANY ERROR. BSN is a one Bear effort and mistakes have occurred and immediately corrected not even with any angst- if nothing else such requests to eradicate a wrong play, date, player, etc. shows the readers actually look at these pages. THANKS

From Coach Reed—
Very, very entertaining game on Prindle Tuesday. While the final was 0 – 0, it could have been 4 – 4 or 5 – 0 either way. Both GKs were fantastic. Andreas Geffert was, once again, by a large margin, one of the most impactful players on the field today. He’s now on 250+ minutes of clean sheets, impressive at any level. Both teams had chances throughout the game, including during both overtime periods. The usual suspects played well for us today, Fishman, Brady, Thiess, Schermer, Trowern, Ingram and Geffert; several players contributed off the bench, particularly down the stretch. We could have/should have won, but there are some good moments to draw on.
We play next on Sunday up in Downingtown, PA on Sunday at a college showcase event that features a Who’s who of prep school soccer up and down the East Coast. We play The Hill School at 3:15 and 80+ colleges will be in attendance. Should be a good event for our boys. Wish us luck.
