Bears on the Diamond by Jim Colgain

Keegan Dolan (W & L University, 2010), last week, had 2 more HR and now sits

with 42 hits on the season, including 7 HR, 14 Doubles and three triples to

help lead his team in the “5 Hole” as a hitter.

Kyle Colgain (Denison University, 2011), added two more wins to his season

as a pitcher, throwing 13 innings and allowing 1 earned run, pushing his ERA

to 2.65 on the season.

Jay Graham (Dartmouth College, 2011), is hitting 286 for the Big Green,

filling in at the hot corner, in increasing action on the field.

Max Kra (Bucknell, 2012), continues to be the closer with the most

appearances (17), on the season, thus far for the Bison.  Max, similar to

his time at Landon, is often called on by the Bison coach to come in during

the late innings of the game with the outcome in balance.  There are not too

many freshman in the league that have taken the bump, in nearly half of

their team’s games this season…. Congratulations Max !

THANKS, JIM
