2017 FINAL NOTES
Congratulations to the Maryland Terrapins, the 2017 NCAA Men’s D-I Champions. Although there were no Bears on the roster for Maryland this year, many Landon alums have contributed to the success and history of the Maryland program, including J.R. Bordley, Andy Burman, Brendan & Ian Healy, Danny McCormick and Kellen Miller.
Salisbury (Brian Martinez) captured yet another D-III title on Sunday, downing RIT 15-7. The Seagulls blew open a close game in the second half, outscoring RIT 9-3 over the last 30 minutes. Salisbury has now won 5 of the last 10 D-III Championships.

APOLOGIES:
This year, I failed to record the progress of the Cardinals of Catholic University. Although, no Bears play for the Cardinals, Tommy Minkler ’11 is an Assistant Coach with team. After Landon, Tommy was an outstanding player for Ohio Wesleyan and then an Assistant Coach there for one year before coming back to the DC area. Catholic had a great 2017 season, posting a 14-3 record with two of those losses coming against the Landmark Conference regular season and tournament champion, Elizabethtown. This also means that there was a first time Bears vs. Bears Assistant Coaches match up this year when Catholic and Marymount (Wes Lincoln) met. Catholic won that match 8-6.
