INSIDE THE WHITE ROCKS

FOOTBALL 3-1

Coach Padalino Bears lost their second game vs. Non IAC team, under bizarre circumstance 14-15

SOCCER 4-3-1

Coach Reed’s report on win over Bullis

“The varsity soccer team continued its recent run of good form yesterday out on Prindle Field, beating Bullis 2 – 0.  We started well and in the 10:00 Manif Jaffa picked up the ball on the right edge, went through a defender, got to the endline, attracted a crowd, and slipped the ball across the face of goal to his best friend, Jackson Tewksbury for a tap in, 1 – 0.  The next half an hour was not our best and the 1 – 0 lead felt tenuous.  Henry Appleton did well at the kick off to ignite our team and about fifteen minutes later his brother, Nick, clipped the ball into Bullis’ 18 box directly into the path of Vincent Ingram who tidily scored his fourth goal in three IAC games.  Fantastic from him.  Our back three defenders, Hugh Neill, Masai Gordon and Jacob Sims, and our GK Luke Tegeris.”
