Initial week for both Inside the Rocks and Bear Tracks- neither’s schedule full bore. Varsity Football earns win with impressive goal line stand and then 99 yard drive for TD. Others getting ready. INSIDE THE WHITE ROCKS

FOOTBALL
Coach Padalino’s squad won based on a critical goal line stand, followed by a character-building 99 yard drive.Landon School 17 John Carroll 0

SOCCER
Coach Reed’s sideshows 2 scrimmages to date and a cancelled match against Sidwell. First game on 9/5 v. Washington International 4:30pm at home.
WATER POLO
Coach Moorin’s team traveled to Philly to play/scrimmage the schools there (most of which have indoor pools- serious), no social media reports of how the Bears did. The team hits the Dixon Pool on 9/7 @ 5 pm v. Archbishop Spalding and then to USNA for matches.
CROSS COUNTRY
X (a/k/a Twitter) has images of the X-country team preparing for 9/7 meet v. Bullis (not clear if H or A). The team captain competed in his 1st Marathon.
