HIGHLIGHTS

INSIDE THE WHITE ROCKS

  • BASEBALL has 19-7 record, tie GP for regular season championship!!!

  • GOLF 4Ws, 2Ties, 3 Ls; win 1st MD state private school championship and Freeman Memorial Competition

  • LACROSSE undefeated in IAC regular season and tournament, 18-1 and two HS AAs

  •  RUGBY 2-3

  • TENNIS wins IAC tournament upsetting StA in IAC tournament, 5-3

  • TRACK had a very challenging schedule, shot putter to Brown and some young talent

  • BASKETBALL- beat Good Counsel in Capitol Summer league with a player earning player-of-the-game.

SPRING SPORTS

  • BASEBALL—COACH MARTINEZ’s squad’s 19-7 with a 9-1 IAC record thus tying GP for the REGULAR SEASON TITLE

  • GOLF—COACH LUTHER’s links men won the inaugural MD Private School State Championship and the Freeman Memorial. They did well both in the IACs and the Met Championship. It appears that six wins, three losses and two ties = their record!!!

  • LACROSSE— COACH McGettigan racked up their 2nd consecutive IAC championship, going undefeated in the regular season. To capture the trophy, they conquered the league and earned accolades.

AND NATIONAL RECOGNITION

  • RUGBY—COACH SAM TYLER’s squad  earned six All MAVRC recognitions.

  • TENNIS—COACH MILLER L’86, netmen turned it on when it counted beating StA for the Bears’ 51st IAC title!!! Per the head Coach, Coach Zaiser was instrumental in earning this goal.

Three Bears earned All IAC honors which they share with alumni who played professionally (Wimbledon, among others), Davis Cup, recognized as pro tennis’ most successful agent and coaches at college and high schools

  • TRACK— ran at big time meets, gaining experience for 2026.

    • BASKETBALL- playing in the uber competitive Capital Classic:

The regular run of alumni in basketball, hockey, baseball, golf,  lacrosse, tennis and track will resume next week
