——–BEAR SPORTS NEWS 09/07/2025——-

SUNDAY EDITION

The first Sunday Edition for 2025 and for those new to this blog, the goal is to capture all of the Bears INSIDE the WHITE ROCKS and BEAR TRACKS. My other job does not permit me to attend all Varsity Sports; so, any information shared by COACHES, PARENTS, STUDENTS and friends will be posted here. The audience for these posts include a larger community (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.).

It is more than a little pretentious  to use the term editorial policy, but the intents and limitations of Bear Sports News should be explained. N.B. THE REQUEST FOR CORRECTIONS IS SINCERE.

INSIDE THE WHITE ROCKS

  • CROSS-COUNTRYCoach DiChiara took his running Bears to the Bittersweet XC Invitational and they finished 8th with IVth former Gavin Grunseich was the first Landon runner over the finish line

The Seniors provide leadership over this young roster (9 sophomores and 1 freshman). The scales in Barton Athletic Center have reached higher #s than in years past, but rumor has it IAC opponents are heavier too. @Flint Hill next Saturday.
