Spring Sports
BASEBALL- (7-2?) Coach Powers’ nine + beat SSSA 4-2 with R. Lee earning the win and N. Rosner the save and repeated the outcome 4-3
GOLF—Coach Luther’s (5-2?) lost to Gilman 202 – 192 against a very talented Greyhound team on a very challenging course. John Bates was our low man for the day, shooting a 37.Arman Arora fired his lowest score in a 9 hole match, 39, finishing with 5 pars over the last 6 holes after 3 bogeys to start the day. Charlie Bundy shook off his first double bogey of the season on the 3rd hole of the day and rattled off 5 pars in the final 6 holes to shoot a 40, well above his average, but he was truly grinding out there on a day when he didn’t have his best stuff. Not easy to do in those conditions. Nic Lebron also had his lowest varsity score in a 9 hole match with a 43.

The Bears are gearing up for next Tuesday’s IAC Tourney, which should be an intense event, with half of the overall IAC Championship on the line.
LACROSSE—Coach McGettigan’s team (9-5) had a great week with an exciting (earning an extra period with a tying goal@ 0:02 of regular time, a 0-0 1st o/t and the GWG early in the 2nd O/T) 2bl O/T Cardinal Gibbons (NC) SCORE: 15-14. And then beat a highly ranked SSSA 12-8. The Bears in Alexandria were bearish on the home team clears, the D held the Saints below their average GPG and the offense moved well. Great coaching was obvious.
RUGBY—
