WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:
What are you currently reading/playing?What did you recently finish reading/playing?What do you think you’ll read/play next?
It was my birthday on Monday so I haven’t been able to get much reading done as a result of all of the birthday prep, celebrating and resting I’ve been doing! I did get a surprising amount of books for my birthday though so I am very happy about that (let’s not talk about how that makes my TBR pile feel though)
Currently Reading/Playing
For my Potions O.W.L I made the decision to finally read Tone of Voice and I have fallen in love with it so hard. I adore the Xandri Corelel series and Kaia Sønderby must be after my own heart with the beautiful ocean setting in the sequel to Failure to Communicate. I’m about 50% of the way through it and looking forward to finding out what the next 50% brings.
Surprise, surprise! I am still playing Divinity: Original Sin 2. Ngl, it has pretty much dominated my entire week and I have no issue with this! As we hook our PC up to our TV for the bigger screen, I treated myself to a little kiddie bean bag chair to play on and my partner bought me a white keyboard/mouse set with rainbow backlight for my birthday so we have been having a lot of fun playing. We’re in the final act of the game now and eager to see how the story will resolve itself…
Recently Finished
I read The Vegetarian for my Charms O.W.L and it was so bizarre. Last WWW Wednesday I spoke about how strange the book was whilst I was reading it and it continued to get even more strange during the last part of the book. I have no idea what to think about it…
One of my friends bought me The Tea Dragon Society which I’ve wanted to read for ages and was absolutely delighted when I received it. I read it pretty much as soon as I unwrapped it, it was everything I wanted it to be and more. I want to try to review it soon because it was so perfect ❤ I’m also going to cheekily use it for my Care of Magical Creatures O.W.L bc tea dragons are totally land animals… ;D
Next Read/Play
As Potions is my last O.W.L required for my Magizoologist career, I can move on to other O.W.Ls now. I need another 2 O.W.Ls in order to get an Exceeds Expectations so I’m aiming to read another two to finish up my O.W.Ls readathon. As Emily Eternal is an ARC I have which is being released next week so I want to provide reading that one for my Divination O.W.L.
Video games wise I will still be playing Divinity because that is my jam at the moment ❤
Let me know what you all are reading this week and anything good that you have finished reading or playing recently!
