Update (10/7 at 3:23 p.m.): Response from SiteHelp at stltoday.com: “The person who originally submitted that press release requested it be taken down.”
Update (10/31/13 at 7:45 p.m.): WUSTL issued a release on its site stating that Luenemann “will not be returning to the Danforth Campus following his leave of absence.”
From the release: “My departure from coaching will create a huge void in my life, but it’s time for my wife, Joan, to become the rudder of our ship,” Luenemann added. “Joan’s fragile medical condition requires my full attention as her primary caregiver, and we’ll work hand-in-hand to maximize the quality of her improvement.”
