What is success?

As Sir Winston once said regarding success, “it’s the courage to continue that counts.” The ability to focus on your future to build what you dream of is the key. Or, as Mark Twain said, “to have success in life you need two things, ignorance and confidence.” Personally, I think the most important part is knowing what you stand for and what you want to achieve.

This brings us back to my question – what is success? Reading about the challenges of others and being inspired by what is possible is valuable but, it’s not the answer. Is success the ability to set your own schedule? The ability to choose who is in your life and your daily activities? Is it based in scientific achievement and helping others?

You must decide for yourself what success means but the path to it, the journey, is what it’s all about. Get’er done!

“Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential.” -John C. Maxwell

“The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.” -Jordan Belfort
