What Book Do You Recommend For…?

This year, I decided to take on the “obsessed reader” challenge from Tim Challies. It involves reading 104 books in a year – about 2 per week. You can’t just choose any 104 books you want; they are books that reflect certain categories. For example – “a book from church history” or “a book from a Puritan.” Many of these books I have a good idea of what I would like to read, and then a handful of these categories I am not sure where to start. And that is where YOU come in. I am going to list some categories where I am open to your suggestions. If you have a book to recommend that fits any of the below categories, let me have the title and I will consider reading it in 2009. Here is where I could use your help:

  • a book about aging

  • a book about animals

  • a book about business or productivity

  • a book about Europe

  • a book recommended by a family member (You have to be related to me for this one!)

  • a photo essay book

  • a sad book
