NPI through Oct. 20 matches. Top 20 followed by Region VIII/IX teams above 50.0, which represents the upper half of the division.

EDIT: The official NPI numbers are posted early. That was an unexpected development. However, the NCAA data confirm the efficacy of the DIII background wizards’ previous numbers. Most variances can be attributed to the number of iterations run and/or the inclusion of Ferrum, which has been debated by us nerds for weeks. Turns out Ferrum is included.
