TLU forces a fifth set but UMHB takes it and the match.

It looks like the Centenary match either didn’t happen or it’s not going to be an official match. It was against their JV team so that would have been strange. Regardless, the match no longer shows on the Centenary website.

McMurry beating LETU was really must-win for them if they want to make a late run for that 6th spot in conference. It also really hurts LETU chances at the 2nd seed.

What if? TLU beat UMHB. For TLU it probably meant I needed to add them to my Watch List. They would have had the only win over UMHB so a nice head-to-head there. It would have moved them to 12-8. Not great but not horrible. Their SOS was 0.539 before they played UMHB so it would have gone up. Yeah, they would have had to be added. For UMHB, I’m not high on their at-large bid so I’m not sure this impacts that at all. Being out-of-conference it had no impact on that. Just would have been interested and would have launched TLU into the regional ranking discussion.

Random Thoughts: The cover photo is Willamette senior outside Natalie Klotz. (BTW, I really like that Willamette has a phonic pronunciation audio with each name on the roster and a really cool photo gallery.)

Did you know that Centenary has played around twice as many matches as Schreiner has this season?

We’ve got a SCAC/ASC matchup with TLU and UMHB. Cru should take this but TLU can be annoyingly difficult at times.

LETU is trying to get that second spot in the standings so this is really a must win. Same for McMurry as they try to climb into contention and a spot in the ASC Tournament.

Willamette has been playing pretty good otherwise this might be a good chance for Linfield to pick up their first win. If they can stop the cover photo model, it will go a long way to helping that cause.
