Wednesday, Oct 12 Match Day!
Updates: Links in for the Whitewater/Chicago match. Chicago is going to be an interesting at-large candidate. They are currently 12-9 and are playing the toughest schedule in the nation. Their SOS according to QWI is 0.640. They have wins over Emory and Calvin. Seven of their losses are to probable regionally ranked teams with the other two being to really good teams in Region VIII that would be ranked in other regions. Their estimated Ranked Record is 4-7. QWI has them regionally ranked 7th in Region VIII and the six teams in front of them will all get in quickly. The ordering in Region VIII is going to be important and once you factor in head-to-head and common opponent, they could be lower in the rankings. If Ithaca last year can get in by playing a tough schedule and not beating anyone of note then you would think Chicago is in as of today.
Pickleball night, by the way. Late updates.

Random Thoughts: Just a couple of matches in the West tonight. I don’t have much to say about either. Schreiner should be able to hold home court while L&C will have a tougher time of it.
