I attended my seventh Wagamama Annual Party on Monday.  I actually had a better time than I thought I would do and I met some people I hadn’t seen in a while.  Its also a time when I think about how this event was what spurred me on my performance analysis journey.  Then I reassess where I am at in my career.  I still feel that if nothing substantial happens by September then I will stop pursuing it as a career.

So where am I at in finding something substantial  Well, so far I have been dedicating a day a week in finding a job.  And the result?  Well, things are looking up and a few opportunities has arisen.  If some or all of them works out then it would be awesome.  However, its nothing concrete so I can’t rely on them.  I have to keep applying for jobs and creating opportunities for myself, e.g. monetising the Super 8s Statistics.
