Volleyball returns

The SLIAC is the first conference to resume play in the Central and Midwest regions, beginning with a single match (Greenville at Spalding) Friday, Feb. 5.

Six conferences in the Central/Midwest regions are slated to play in the 2020-21 academic calendar. The ARC is back Feb. 20, CCIW on Feb. 21, UMAC on March 6 and NACC on March 7. However, Illinois Tech and Alverno appear to have opted out of the NACC season. The MIAC has stated repeated intentions to play a league slate but has yet to publicize a schedule.

Several institutions have nonconference matches scheduled, but a majority of the teams competing in early 2021 will play conference schedules exclusively. The NACC, SLIAC and UMAC are set to hold season ending conference tournaments.
