Valparaiso Street Art – A Photo Essay

The streets of Valparaiso are just oozing with colour. It seems that there’s some sort of street art or graffiti mural around every corner. During our stay in Valparaiso, I spent a lot of mornings just walking around the city with my camera in hand, ready to capture the vibrancy here. Mac & I also took part in a graffiti walking tour (not unlike the one we did in Bogota). Though this tour wasn’t as packed with information about the history, artists, & media types as our first graffiti tour, I still thoroughly enjoyed walking around the city with a guide to point out murals that I otherwise wouldn’t have seen. Because there are SO many works of art here, and they’re all so unique, I thought it would be best to just do a photo dump for your viewing pleasure. Keep in mind that this is only a small sampling of the thousands of works that make up what is Valparaiso street art. I hope you enjoy these pictures!!
