Vacation sneaker peeker 2018

We took that trip, and I have soooooo much photo stuff to catch up on. I haven’t even taken the majority of the images off the memory cards yet. I’ve been foiled by the everyday insanity of fall, in which I spend all my time filling out school forms, helping with homework, packing lunches, driving them to and fro to school and lessons and classes, and all that in-between the other normal adult junk like work, errands, chores…

Not like I’m complaining, I mean hey: DUH WELCOME TO BEING A GROWN UP NEMMIE. But just know that this doesn’t leave a lot of time for blogging (especially when I have a YouTube channel addiction to fill in that little bit of free time late at night).

(Just dropping this here to point out that there are worse addictions out there. And also you can probably totally find this episode on YouTube.)

(Just sayin’.)

Also I was woefully ignorant to think my days would get easier as the kids grew out of babyhood/toddlerhood/preschool-hood. Nope, still take up all my time, just in different ways, in fact in some ways they eat up way more of what was once precious Me Time, waaaaaaaah.

ANYWAY SORRY TO BLATHER. Here, a sneak peek from our much-too-short blissful Oregon getaway. We did our usual when out that way: some time in the Columbia River Gorge, some at the coast, and some in Portland sweet Portland. More to come soon friends, promise.

Our airbnbs did not disappoint this trip. I never wanted to leave this A-frame.

And now if you would excuse me, I have some dishes to do and lunches to pack and maybe some YouTube to stare at dead-eyed for the last hour of my day.  Peace.
