Nuclear Group Entertainment Announces Release of Latest Single From Ishy andQuin Gibbs, “LA Girls/Curtis” and Corresponding Visual Production

Miami, Fl

— Nuclear Group Entertainment is proud to announce the release of Ishy and Quin Gibbs’ collaborative single, titled “LA Girls/Curtis,”AVAILABLE NOW. The single will be accompanied by a visual production directed by renowned videographer Roberto Mario, and produced by Miss Rose Theory.

The latest effort by the duo referred to as IQ serves as the follow up to their debut album 2 Dope Boyz in a Civic, and first release under Nuclear Group Entertainment. LA Girls/Curtis further contributes to IQ’s musical rapport, offering a pristine balance between Ishy’s melodic cadence and Quin Gibbs’ lyrical exercise in storytelling.

IQ describes the project as a junction of two unique songs entirely, referring to the songwriting process as “Two artists. One canvas,” with Quin Gibbs reiterating that idea, stating, “We usually write in sync but we met up one afternoon and realized we had two different songs. Instead of choosing one over the other we recorded it as a two part song with separate sounds.”

Ishy’s verse focuses on love and lust, gracefully floating over the sedated piano melody. He describes LA Girls as a means to, “Portray (his) conflictive feelings between falsified glamour on social media and natural attractiveness…Even with the most pleasant of promises, temptation is always there.”

The separation between “LA Girls” and “Curtis” occurs suddenly, with Quin Gibbs’ style providing a distinct contrast and transition from his counterpart. Quin describes “Curtis” as, “An ode to 50 Cent, an attempt to embody the essence of 50’s timeless adage, “Get Rich or Die Trying.”” Following the glamour of “LA Girls,” “Curtis” offers a different message entirely, focusing more on Quin’s efforts to come up in the music game, while maintaining the melodic elegancy of the record.
